Your space to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours with clarity & autonomy
There are times in life when things can feel overwhelming or confusing and even small problems can become significant obstacles. Taking the first step to seek support can often feel like the hardest, yet it is the beginning of meaningful change.
I am a dedicated and experienced counsellor with over 10 years in private practice. I offer a warm, client-centred approach, supporting individuals of all ages with a wide range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am committed to providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to make lasting, positive changes.
My personal life experience has given me a deep understanding of the complexities people face. Growing up in a large and complex family environment, I witnessed challenges such as depression, anxiety, addiction, and loss. This has shaped my empathetic and compassionate approach to supporting others.

Heartfelt Testimonies
“Fiona has helped me so much to believe in myself and move forward from some very difficult times. She is calm and kind and I always leave the session feeling more positive about the present and the future. She has helped me recognise my strengths and be more forgiving. I now have strategies to tap into when I struggle, during which I can hear her words of encouragement and belief.”
“I came to Fiona having never had therapy before, unsure what to expect and a little unsure whether it was ‘for me’. What I found was a space that felt genuinely safe from the very first session. Over the course of more than a year, Fiona helped me understand myself in ways I hadn’t anticipated. Fiona has a rare ability to support difficult conversations with both warmth and honesty. We gently opened doors I wouldn’t have opened alone.
I’m so glad I took that first step. I would highly recommend Fiona. ”
“I searched for a counsellor to help me deal with a family relationship that had deteriorated and was so pleased when I found Fiona. She listened carefully and through her skills and experience, was able to help me come to terms with what had happened and give me ideas as to how to deal with the problem. I found her to be warm, understanding, patient, knowledgable and professional in her approach and I always felt more positive and calmer after our meetings. I don’t know how I would have coped without Fiona by my side and would wholeheartedly recommend her.”
“I have been seeing Fiona for over six years and I can honestly say the impact she has had on my life has been profound. During some of my most difficult periods - particularly whilst managing the intense stress of running my own business - she provided a steady, supportive presence that helped me navigate challenges I once felt overwhelmed by. In every session I feel heard, understood and supported. She helped me shift my perspective in a way that changed not only how I approach my work but how I live more broadly. I’ve learnt that it’s neither possible or necessary to keep everyone happy all the time. Her guidance has been invaluable and I’m incredibly grateful for the role she has played in helping me become a more balanced and resilient person. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, insightful and genuinely life-changing therapist.”

If something is affecting your well-being and confidence, your relationship with yourself or with others and your day to day life - then it matters. Counselling is not about comparing yourself to others or measuring suffering, whatever brings you to therapy, your feelings and experiences are valid.
